Board Certified in Family Law and in Child Welfare Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Elisa Reiter focuses her practice on family law matters (divorce, LGBTQ issues, grandparent rights, foster parent interventions, modifications of child support and custody, parental child contact problems, premarital and postmarital agreements and grey divorce). A Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, Elisa Reiter is a certified mediator, a certified collaborative lawyer, and an AV Preeminent rated trial lawyer. 

With a practice dedicated to advocating for families, Mrs. Reiter gives back to the community by presenting seminars and by sharing her knowledge through the publication of over 150 articles, which have appeared in Texas Lawyer, New York Law Journal, National Law Journal, L.A. Lawyer, and other periodicals, focusing on the intersection of family law and mental health issues. 

Mrs. Reiter is an Adjunct Professor at SMU Dedman School of Law. Part of the team at Calabrese Budner, LLP, where an ethical and effective approach ensures each case is navigated with professionalism and compassion.
